Bridging strategy, technology & people
Project manager and service delivery lead with a passion for turning complex challenges into tangible results. Experience spanning public transit, medtech, retail, and startups — combining strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver quality and real business value.
About Me
I'm a project manager and service delivery lead focused on delivering quality and business value across all types of engagements. I have extensive experience working with complex deliveries in retail, medtech, and the public sector — where structure, results, and customer value are paramount.
By combining strategic oversight with operational execution, I ensure projects move from plan to reality. I've driven agile transformations in both startups and larger organizations, adapting ways of working to fit the team and the challenge at hand.
I'm an engaged and responsive leader who creates trust, energy, and forward momentum. I lead through coaching — developing both teams and individuals to contribute to the bigger picture. Solution-oriented, unpretentious, and focused on building strong collaboration.
Experience
Leading a pilot and implementation project for AI and automated bots at Karlstad municipality. Stepped in after a previous pilot was halted, bringing structure and direction to multiple parallel initiatives that lacked unified governance and clear ownership.
Acting as bridge between business, IT, architecture, and leadership — translating technical possibilities into business value and relieving stakeholders by untangling complexity, creating decision materials, and clarifying responsibilities. Work spans platform selection (Fabric, Copilot Studio, Foundry, ML environments), information security, legal/GDPR compliance, and AI solution lifecycle management.
Transitioned the team from an ambiguous "scrum-ish" way of working to proper Scrum/Kanban, established measurement points for prioritization, and created conditions for future AI initiatives to be executed faster and with less friction.
Led the development and service management of digital public transit solutions, driving an agile transformation while building and maintaining a strong cross-functional team. Awarded the highest possible quality rating by the client — a testament to the team's delivery reliability and customer trust.
Successfully navigated the team through two critical security incidents, resulting in a more stable product and strengthened client confidence. Acted as mediator between two regional clients with differing priorities, helping them unite around shared goals. Managed two parallel projects outside of Sogeti's direct governance to successful completion.
As co-founder, held overarching responsibility for product development, customer relationships, and technical direction. Designed the system architecture and database structure, created the product roadmap, and set priorities for the team's work.
In the early stages, contributed hands-on programming — developing algorithms for 200 Hz pressure sensor data analysis using Fourier transforms and anomaly detection, both in real-time and historically. Responsible for full-system troubleshooting throughout the journey.
Served as the bridge between customers and the development team, translating business needs into technical requirements and leading the team of 3–6 people in delivering solutions. Evolved from hands-on developer to technical leader focused on architecture and team direction.
Built and led a support team spanning 1st line, 2nd line, a print shop, and QA. Served as technical expert supporting sales in client meetings and was co-responsible for trade show presence. Held special responsibility for Nordic partner and supplier relationships.
On the technical side, contributed with QA work, troubleshooting, and custom solutions. Developed specialized materials to streamline sign production and consulted as a VBA programmer.
Assisted faculty with research at the Department of Business Studies, contributing to academic projects and gaining deep understanding of business administration theory.

Ceremonial Grand Marshal
As Grand Marshal and Deputy Grand Marshal, Martin held operational and administrative responsibility for the marshals' and standard-bearers' participation in Uppsala University's official ceremonies — including doctoral conferment ceremonies and professorial installations.
He coordinated events in close collaboration with university leadership, police, staff, and representatives from other institutions. The role demanded diplomacy and clear communication at the intersection of university leadership, the student union, and external authorities.

During my time at Cenvigo, Martin served as a much appreciated manager with an impressive array of both soft and technical skills. As a manager Martin had the ability to blend in seamlessly with developers.
His pragmatic and solution driven mindset, combined with his serious but positive approach to both problems and personal criticism, set a good example for everyone, regardless of seniority and field.
Martin confidently faces challenges, and uses whatever resources are available without letting office politics or dogmas get in the way. He has an unwavering determination to make the best out of what he's presented with.
More importantly he has the ability to instill this mindset in others. With Martin in the office one can expect increased morale, high personal responsibility, and high efficiency.
